Privacy Commitment

At ASC, we take your privacy seriously. All personal data, academic records, and application materials submitted to ASC will be treated with the highest confidentiality. Information is used only for: - Application review and program delivery - Financial aid consideration - Required reporting to partner institutions or law (where applicable)

We do not sell, rent, or disclose applicant information to third parties without explicit consent, except when required for university applications, financial aid, or standardized testing agencies (e.g., College Board, ETS).

Data Collection & Use

- Information Collected: Full name, contact details, KCSE results, application essays, financial information, and standardized test scores for students who have taken/end up taking the tests for college application (SAT/IELTS/TOEFL/DET). - How We Use It: To determine eligibility, provide tailored consulting services, process financial aid applications, and connect scholars with universities and scholarships. - Storage & Access: Data is securely stored and accessible only to authorized ASC staff and mentors. - Retention: Records are kept for up to ten years for program evaluation and alumni engagement, after which data will be anonymized or deleted.

Confidentiality

During the ASC program, scholars may share academic records, financial information, and personal stories. All mentors, staff, and volunteers sign confidentiality agreements and must handle information responsibly.

Student Responsibilities

By enrolling in ASC, scholars agree to: - Provide accurate and truthful information in all applications. - Uphold ASC's values of excellence, accessibility, and community. - Act with integrity, respect, and full participation throughout the program.

Terms of Service

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for ASC, applicants must: - Be Kenyan nationals or permanent residents studying in Kenya. - Have strong academic achievement (minimum B+ average, with at least a B in English and a B+ in Math). - Demonstrate leadership, service, or extracurricular involvement. - Show resilience, integrity, and commitment to uplifting others. - Aspire to pursue higher education abroad at competitive global universities and make a national, continental, or global impact.

Selection Process

1. Eligibility Check: Upload KCSE results, full name, and contact details on the ASC website.

2. Application Form: Eligible students receive a personalized ASC application form to submit within 7 days.

3. Review & Interviews: Shortlisted applicants are invited to 30-minute Zoom interviews.

4. Decision Release: Decisions are emailed within 36 hours after the final interview, alongside a customized program cost breakdown.

5. Program Admission: Successful applicants accept their offer, select payment plans, and begin preparation.

Program Participation

Admitted scholars must engage fully in: - SAT preparation (8–10 weeks) - Essay tutoring and workshops - University research and matching sessions - Financial aid application guidance - Ongoing mentorship until successful transition to college

Program Costs

- Range: KES 60,000 – 200,000 (covers consulting, essay tutoring, application guidance, CSS profile submission, and some fees. SAT/TOEFL/IELTS test fees may be extra). - Payment Options: Monthly, quarterly, or full payment upfront. - No Hidden Fees: Once enrolled in a program package, no extra fees are charged unless the scholar upgrades to a different package.

NB: Money paid to ASC is non-refundable

Financial Aid

- Need-Based Aid: ASC may reduce program fees by up to 70% based on financial need. - Scholarships: Merit-based awards available for top-performing scholars.

- Cap: A Maximum of 10% of each cohort may receive ASC financial aid. - Process: No separate application is required—aid decisions are based on financial data provided in the main application and communicated in the admission decision letter.

Exclusions

Applicants may be disqualified if: - They falsify documents or provide inaccurate information. - They fail to engage actively with ASC activities. - They do not uphold ASC's values of excellence, accessibility, and community.
